HOW TO BUILD THE DESIRED LIFE EARLY

In last week's article, we introduced few facts about building the desired life early and the need to start early in providing yourself a brighter future. However, in today's article, we will unveil a few measures to take on how to build the desired life at the prime time of young individuals.

Firstly, you need to understand that whatsoever desired in life must be planned and worked for intentionally before it becomes a reality. God Himself is a master planner. He planned before the world was created. "..And the spirit of the Lord was hovering over the face of the waters". (Genesis 1:3). While He was hovering, He was cooking up something concerning the project He was about venturing into (Creation). He even planned your life before you existed. "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you..." (Jeremiah 1:5). Scriptures has made it explicitly clear that God Himself plans everything because He is the God of orderliness and excellence, so should you!

There are few measures to guide you on building your life.
√ DISCOVER GOD'S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE
God has designed a plan for you even before you came into existence. He created you with an attachment of His purpose concerning you. As the ultimate manufacturer of all creation, God created all things including you with a purpose in mind just as a manufacturer or inventor of any product or material had a purpose in mind while creating it. However, you can only know and apprehend your purpose when you return to Your manufacturer (God). Go to Him and find it out.

Fulfilment in life is found in your discovered purpose. Nothing else can satisfy you outside it.
Also note that the positive burning passion inside of you reveals your purpose in life. Respond to it. That's where your establishment for life lies.

√ MAKE VISIONS AND MAP OUT STRATEGIC PLANS FOR ITS ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
Write down visions (what you want to achieve in life) make it plain so you can have what to run with. (Habakkuk 2:2)
Also make plans–steps– to achieve your goals with an accurate timing for its accomplishments. You save yourself the expense of wasted time.

√ BUILD THE RIGHT RELATIONSHIPS AND ASSOCIATION.
Be very mindful of the people around you. Build profitable relationships. Keep good friends. Relate with great and focused minds because the right people are helpers for building your life.

√ DISSASSOCIATE FROM WRONG PEOPLE.
Those not going your direction is a distraction. Those that are negative influences over you are enemies of your destiny. Be cautious!

√ WORK WITH TIMES AND SEASONS IN YOUR LIFE.
Learn to take hold of opportunities. Follow times and seasons. Be wise, courageous and bold to take it up.
Never envy other people's success or achievement. Mind your business and be great at it.

A change is ringing inside of you. Respond to that innate call for a positive change and be totally responsible for your life.

Ensure you acknowledge God in all you do and He'll direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."(Jeremiah 29:11).

God bless you!

MY DEADLY FRIEND

I had this friend I never knew was a foe till I understood its deadly traits.   The worst part?? I feed it myself unknowingly. Imagine feeding what kills you slowly. No, it's not an external being or thing but comes from within.  And no, it's not personal to me but a generic problem amongst millions of people out there. Comparison! Yes, comparison! It shows itself through three different forms :  Emotions , c ommunication   and   Identity . You would agree with me that these forms can also be components that constitute friendship. This is to elaborate how comparison poses as a friend while stating its significant harm. THE EMOTIONS INVOLVED  Some people think of comparison as a tool for growth. I mean, if other people's success and progress can keep you awake and thinking all the time, then you would want to do better. That's what you think, right?  Comparison would surely give you a lot of motivational lines like: "If my friend can do this, i can do i...

WHEN PURPOSE DOESN'T LOOK POPULAR

One of the basic need of humans is to be seen. The need to be wanted, accepted and approved by others. And in our world today, where visibility and popularity often connotes value, walking in the light of purpose can feel lonely and somewhat insignificant. It seems like everyone is moving faster, shining brighter, and getting noticed.  On the other hand, you who seek to live in obedience to God's instruction per time  don't draw attention. Your purpose looks slow, hidden, or even strange to others. What happens then? The truth is, God’s purpose for your life won’t always look popular. Sometimes, He calls you to build when no one else understands what you’re building. He calls you to walk a path that doesn’t make sense to the crowd. That's not really comforting, right? But understand that there's a difference between living for purpose and living for popularity. Purpose is about fulfilling God’s assignment for your life. It’s about obedience, faith, and surrender. Wheth...

HOW TO BUILD CONFIDENCE WITHOUT LOSING HUMILITY

You know, I truly love the virtue called humility and sincerely admire humble people. But you see folks that are extremely humble yet unapologetically confident — this, I can never resist. I could't help but wonder how they strike the balance until recently. You can see humility yet confidence is an aura they exude. I had to research on it and I discovered the "how-to" behind this amazing twist which I'll be unfolding here.  First off, let's understand this: T here is a thin line between confidence and pride. It takes some level of mastery to avoid breaking that line.  Have you ever tried to be confident but felt like you were being “too much”? Maybe you spoke up during a meeting, posted your small win online, or walked into a room with your head held high, then immediately wondered if you came off as proud. It’s something many struggle with: wanting to believe in themselves without seeming arrogant. Society often makes it worse by mixing up humility with self-dou...
