ATTRACTING DESTINY HELPERS

I believe in destiny helpers so much! When the Holy Spirit gave me an understanding of what destiny helpers is truly about, I became mindful of many things of which needed to be worked on in my life.

I know your mind might be picturing a rich relative or a person with affluence coming your way. But No! It isn't.

We've made this mistake of limiting a destiny helper to a rich man/woman with connections. It's a misconception we've nutured for a long time which has affected our minds.

Infact, when we're asked to pray for a destiny helper, our mind pictures people of substance and wealth to come our way or we picture a person with lots of connections that can give a one in a lifetime opportunity. No! It's much more than that.

A destiny helper might not be rich. Infact, a destiny helper might even be in same or lesser financial state as you. It may sound funny to you but it's the truth and I'll give you some examples.

In the bible, who was noami to Ruth? Noami was Ruth's mother-in-law that lost everything including her family. But because of noami, Ruth got married to a rich man called Boaz.

Jonathan was the closest friend of David. And he played a huge role in the life of David.

There are people in your life today that you ignore and take for granted because you feel they can't give you the big things you've envisioned. And as a result, you make the mistake of practicing favouritism; treating people you feel aren't bouyant enough (financially) with much disdain.

That's a mistake you're making there.

A destiny helper is someone who is meant to place you in the place of destiny.

That 'destiny' speaks of who you are and where you're going. It is the literal reason of your existence which unleashes your greatness. But in as much as your destiny is personal to you, you CANNOT achieve it by yourself. No man can ever be an island.

It was a man and a woman that bore you and took care of you to this level you are. It is a group of people (teachers and mentors) that taught you the things you know in whatever sphere of life you find yourself in  (academically, spiritually, socially, financially and 'everyly').

When I look at my life, I glorify God for the people He has placed around me. No! It's not the money (infact, money is one of the least things). Beginning from my biological father and mother, my spiritual father and mentor, my friends and brethren. I have a very limited circle but I know what I've achieved from them.

I've learnt so much life lessons and wisdom from my circle that can carry me a lifetime.

And because I got an understanding of how precious these people are to me, I don't take their presence in my life for granted.

Yes, there are people who aren't meant to be with you or around you forever. God has placed some around you temporally to teach you something or orchestrate the way for you or help you with something which will drive you faster to where you're meant to be. You have to take advantage of it and acquire all that you must. I repeat again, it's not always about money.

When you see people you can learn from, be humble enough to learn from them irrespective of your status.

HOW YOU CAN ATTRACT DESTINY HELPERS

CHARACTER
This cannot be over emphasized. You need character to relate well with people. You need character to attain privileges and opportunities.

It's true that your social stand, connection, academic status, etc can afford you some opportunities or privilege but if you are a person without character, you won't last.

When you're perceive as someone who isn't nice, spew hurtful and cursing words, easily enraged with anger, exude pride and loftiness, selfish, an emotion wrecker, hostile and possesses ill manners, it can chase people away from you.

Sometimes, we pray for destiny helpers and when God brings them our way, we use our mouths and attitude to chase them off. That person you're looking down on can know someone who has solution or answers to your problem.

Life is all about relationships. That's why you should be strategic about it. You can't know or have it all, that's why you'll always need people. So, flip that bad attitude in the ocean of forgetfulness and learn to be well mannered and approachable.

Notice the people around you and treat them as you would treat yourself or want to be treated. Learn to be accommodative too because you don't know the person you're talking to and how he/she can be of help to you in the future.

Scripture says in Hebrews 13:1-2;
"Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels".

'Angels' here represent helpers in life/destiny.

'Angels' doesn't usually come physically as the magnificent beings they are. They don't always look it. You are the one that have to be discerning to identify them. You have to be discerning to know recognize the 'angels' (those sent as helpers) God has brought your way.

The moment you see a destiny helper beyond a person of wealth and affluence, you'll be more friendly and respectful to others.

Additional, be intentional about creating profitable relationships. I'm not saying you should make friends with just anybody and everybody. Be nice and friendful to all but have a special circle with selected few in it.

Make friends with those that can add value to your life in love, knowledge, counsel, ideas, prayers, tutorship/mentorship, financial intelligence, etc and groom that relationship. Invest in it. Discard the mentality of always being on the recieving end. There must be something you can give to that person/relationship. Your time, calls, words of advice or encouragement goes a long way. Put off selfishness and look for ways to contribute to their lives.

I beseech you today to be intentional about attracting destiny helpers your way this year. Profitable relationships are highly valuable. A call from someone can afford you what your financial or mental capacity can't. That's the power of profitable relationships. Adopt character and humility to attract and keep them. It will help a great deal.

I suggest you make this part of your plans for this year, 2024.

God bless you.

HOW POSSIBLE IS PURITY IN A PERVERSE WORLD?

We live in a world where premarital sex, lust, and diverse sexual vices are thrown at us on the face. Sensual pictures, movies and music that promotes and instigates pornography, masturbation, lesbianism, homosexuality, adultery, rape, lust, etc are rampant, virtually everywhere. It takes advance discipline and utmost reverend for God to be able to resist it. When you access the internet, its there. When you read through some magazines, its there. What about the television compiled with various TV channels with different commercials, ads, movies, operas, shows, etc, it is in its abundance.  These days, almost everything we view promotes lust. Even ads; mere ads. Those that value their christian faith and purity can't even watch television in peace. You'll have to keep changing and switching channels to guide your eyes against scenes that defiles the mind. Even the streets are cluttered with immodestly dressed women and men. They are on every sidewalk and every corne...

HE WAITS FOR IT

I love that feeling I get when a person who seeks my downfall gets so disappointed as a result of his planned scheme against me being totally frustrated. I really do love it. It communicates that I can't be touched, harmed or disadvantaged by the enemy. It makes the fact about God being with me evident to me. I'm certain Jesus had that satisfactory feeling when He overcame the temptations the devil brought His way during His retreat in the wilderness. Imagine being highly tempted three times around the same time and all temptations are in sync with the desires of the flesh. However, Jesus overcame him with a simple tactics..." by the words of their testimony" ( Revelation   12:11).  Until tomorrow, this strategy is most relevant for overcoming any hurdle, challenge or temptation. How does this correlate with today's article; HE WAITS FOR IT? Luke speaks of a reality Jesus experienced and every Christian equally experiences.   See this: "Now when t...

AN EYE FOR AN EYE

An eye for an eye is no new idiom. You must have heard of it or use it yourself. Either way, that idiom is something a child of God should never use but apply a different approach to it. An eye for an eye is a language used by those who seek justice (a repay) of wrong(s) or evil done to him or her. But in as much as justice is good and in many cases approved even in scriptures, same scripture gave room for mercy and forgiveness.  Unfortunately, many christians take laws into their hands by "wanting their offenders eye for the eye taken from them". They want to equivalently retaliate for the pain, backstab, hate, gossip or any sort of evil done to them in other to satisfy that hurt. But this is contrary to what Jesus preached. Jesus taught two vital measures you should take for any wrong or mischief done against you.  Before i talk on these two keys, I'd love to reveal what the Holyspirit personally taught me from the book of Ephesians on this subject of reveng...

A GEN Z PROBLEM

You don't have to be surprised by today's blog title. I can assure you that there are challenges this generation are faced with that the previous generations didn't experience.  Just stay with me on this ride. In case you don't know what Gen Z is, GEN Z (Generation Z) is a term refered to individuals born between 1997 and 2012. It isn't really a professional term used to identify those born in those years but it was coined by few individuals. However, it's use gained wide spread around 2010 to 2015 particularly amongst marketers/advertizers, media outlets, researchers and youngsters especially in social media world. I said something about the previous generation known as the millennials (those born between 1981 to 1996) who didn't really face the problems of the 'Gen Z's. "What could it be? "  Simple, SOCIAL MEDIA PRESSURE. Prior to the 21st century (2000's), it is recorded that the world was already digitalized but the soci...

GOD IS COMMITTED TO YOUR SAFETY: An Experience

Last Sunday's service sparked in my memory an experience I had with a cultist few months back. The sermon, "THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HIS ANGELS OF PROSPERITY" by my mentor, Pastor Victor Akah cemented my belief in God's total protection, the ministry of His angels and the consciousness of their presence in my life. However, I want to show you by the spirit and my experience that God never fails to protect and deliver those who are His.  It was on a Saturday evening. The weather; beautiful, fit for evangelism. I walked a distance then followed a shortcut that would make my journey to the church hall easier before setting out for evangelism with brethren. It was round 4:30 pm.  As I walked into the street, getting closer to its end as to reach the express road, I heard a man whistle at me, " Hello, fine girl, stop". I thought it was just one of those guys by the road side that have nothing to tell a young girl but to ask for her name and number, so I ig...
