HARSH MOMENTS

Have you ever gotten to a phase in your life that everything seems harsh? I mean, things happening that ordinarily doesn't happen to you? Probably, you are cumbered with more responsibilities or workload. This is not what you're familiar with and you find yourself struggling with it. Or maybe you're in a situation that's choking. And at this stage, you consider it harsh because you don't know how to go about it. Well, I have a word for you. ENGAGE WITH GOD In our last article, I discussed about the help of God and engaging it in your life when you're at your weakest. It's true that at some point in your life, you'll be downcast with worries and challenges of life. At this point, you'll feel like throwing in the towel because of how it has so burdened you but this moment is when you should go to the One who is able to see you through it all. Engage with God. Draw closer to Him.  You can read up that article, THE HELP OF GOD  here . Feeling...

THE HELP OF GOD

Things weren't working and I knew I needed help; help beyond me and man. It was beyond what man could do for me or what I could do for myself. Then I sought and cried for it in prayers to God.  This great need for help made me search scriptures. I came across some key verses that brought me comfort and understanding that helped me. And that is what I want to share with you incase you're going through a tough time. Everyone in this life experience a phase whereby he/she literally feels cornered or can't move any step further. Human weaknesses and inabilities, failed attempt to meet expectations, incompetence, delay, failures or pressing needs cripples at that very stage. And the one thing you think of is HELP greater than that which your own strength can endorse. However, when you find yourself in this despondent situation of loosing hope or strength, remember this: "I will lift up my eyes to the hills— from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord ...

LEFT THE TRACK

He left the track. He missed it. What was after his soul finally took him away and caused him to go off course.  Too many distractions and fancy, alluring activities in this fun fare world we live in are being presented to us on daily basis. This same world took Demas out of track which made him abandon God, his mentor/spiritual guide, and his purpose.  "For Demas, having loved [the pleasures of] this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica...." (2 Timothy 4:10 AMP) As a steward of Christ under apostle Paul, Demas served God and the church but on the long run, he fell in love and got carried away by it like a young man who went in with a prostitute. Now, check yourself... What made you forsook God and His ways? Is it because of your new clique of friends, the new environment you find yourself? is it money, relationships, social media and trends, or church activities/religion (Yes, you can be engaged with church yet Jesus is ignored in your life)....

HEALTHY PAIN

Would you agree with me that continuous and instant pleasure is doing you more harm than good? Would you accept that your comfort zone is actually a zone meant to restrict substantial progress in your life? Just patiently read through this article to catch the palpable insight. I call this article HEALTHY PAIN for a reason. You know, when we hear the word pain , we look for ways to skip it because it interprets an unpleasant and 'not-so' soothing feeling to us. Nevertheless, the pain which I'm speaking of is the pain that brings out gold of potentials, diamonds of solutions in form of ideas and inventions. Whatever that's so valuable will cost you a whole lot which endorse pain. Either through discipline of denying yourself pleasure or sacrificing what you should be enjoying now (present gratification).  Say success in any endeavor, wealth, fame/power,  even the anointing; literally everything good in life has a price attached. To be a successful person in y...
