2026: CHOOSING GRACE OVER GUILT

January has a way of making us feel like we’re already behind. The year just started, yet somehow the pressure is loud.  Goals to set, mistakes to fix, versions of ourselves we were supposed to become by now. Everywhere you turn, someone is announcing a plan, a glow-up or a breakthrough.  Quietly, guilt creeps in . The pressure becomes louder in our head. The guilt for not doing enough last year shoots our mind and cripples the little effort we were first excited to put in. The guilt for still healing, for  needing time for taking it easy. This is usually the struggle even for me because of the high standards created for ourselves. But as 2026 begins, I’m personally making a different choice. This year, I’m choosing grace over guilt.  You can attest that new year brings some sort of feel. It's exciting, hopeful, full of motivation but somewhat burdensome.
